The Beach House Restaurant has done it again! For the 7th year in a row, The Beach House has been awarded the 2018 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

An honour for the Beach House Restaurant and how fortunate are we, Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals – 601 Gulf Dr. N. Anna Maria Island, Florida 34217, to have this fine dining establishment within walking distance of our condos. For many years we have enjoyed dining at and have recommended the Beach House Restaurant to our guests.

We know that TripAdvisor is one of the most powerful traveler review sites on the web and many people use it on a regular basis. As an example, anyone who is considering dining at a local restaurant with waterfront views goes to TripAdvisor in order to read reviews from actual customer and then chooses the restaurant based on the heavy influence of these reviews. So for The Beach House to receive this award for seven consecutive years is quite impressive to say the least.

What exactly is the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award? Here is a brief summary of how it works —

Each year since 2011, TripAdvisor gives Certificate of Excellence awards to hotels, B&Bs/Inns and speciality lodging as well as restaurants and attractions that show continued excellence in hospitality. The Certificate of Excellence is an achievement automatically given to qualifying businesses on TripAdvisor, and there is never any purchase required to qualify. There is no application process for the Certificate of Excellence, and the achievement is earned over time. It is presented to approximately 10% of total businesses on TripAdvisor that have consistently achieved great reviews over the past year. Recipients of the award are announced once a year in or around late May. To qualify a business must maintain at least a 4/5 overall TripAdvisor rating, must have a minimum of reviews and be listed on TripAdvisor for a full 12 month qualifying period between April 2 and March 31. Certificate of Excellence recipients are determined by ratings and reviews on TripAdvisor. A business cannot pay for a Certificate of Excellence nor is there any influence from a commercial relationship with TripAdvisor.

This is what we tell our guests…The Beach House is located minutes from your accommodations, right on the beach. It is a first-rate dining establishment, offering an abundance of seating both inside or outside on the covered deck. We always choose outdoor seating with a table in the sand where we can watch the sunset. I prefer a little privacy when dining and the tables are far enough apart not to be crowded. The prices are reasonable and the service has always been outstanding. The Beach House offers an extensive menu, excellent food and combine that with the spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico equals a perfect dining experience.
