Bridge Street Bistro – 111 Gulf Drive S., Bradenton Beach – 941-782-1122
Located on historic Bridge Street right in the heart of all the activity on Anna Maria Island. The atmosphere here is relaxed yet refined and the attire is resort casual. This is an out of sight spot that could be missed because it is on the third floor above Island Time Bar and Grill. They do have an elevator, for those who don’t desire to climb stairs.
Their food is consistently good and the staff gives you a personal touch service. We often order steak or Cedar planked salmon and and have not been disappointed.
They offer indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor terrace with tables overlooking the Gulf of Mexico offers a fabulous view of the amazing sunsets.
A quiet atmosphere with a well appointed menu at reasonable prices Bridge Street Bistro continues to exceed our expectations at every visit.

Eat Here – 5315 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach 941-778-0411
Caual upscale restaurant. Menu is somewhat limited but they have many unique choices and their specials change often. They always offer some good vegetarian options. Outdoor and indoor searing. The restaurant is small so it is a good idea to call ahead to make a reservation. If you love eating good food together with great service you must try this recommended restaurant!

Island Creperie – 127 Bridge Street, Bradenton Beach – 941-778-1011
Island Creperie is a small, charming cafe. We have eaten breakfast here countless times and each time enjoyed their delicious selection of crepes. Their extensive dinner menu offers a nice variety of entrees with their nice selection of affordably priced wine.
Previously open for breakfast and lunch this restaurant recently opened for dinner, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
This French Bistro with quaint decor and nice atmosphere serves some of the best food on Anna Maria Island.

Anna-maria-island-restaurants

Waterfront Restaurant – 111 S Bay Blvd, Anna Maria – 941-778-1515
The Waterfront offers a peaceful setting with higher than average menu offerings making it a favourite for locals and tourists. Having frequented the restaurant on many occasions we have always found the food to be great and the service terrific. The fresh local seafood is wonderful including their crab cakes, grouper, fried shrimp and corn chowder – – all excellent!
Call ahead to make reservations for the inside dining, but the outside patios are on a first-come basis and there is usually a wait. The outdoor patios are well ventilated with ceiling fans and a constant sea breeze, which makes it the perfect place to dine.
For those expecting a water view this restaurant is across the road from the water and the vegetation blocks a direct view. If a view is important, this might be an issue, otherwise I highly recommend it.
This all-around winner is open every day of the week –
Sunday to Thursday 11:30 am to 9:00 pm – Friday and Saturday 11:30 am to 10:00 pm

They serve complimentary chips & salsa and are known for some of the best Margaritas on the Island! Their fresh made guacamole, quesadillas and delicious bacon wrapped Jalapeño Stuffed Shrimp. Portions are very large and reasonably priced. Dine inside or on their outdoor patio and take-out is offered as well. Always great live nightly entertainment. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

CELEBRATE MOTHER’S DAY ON ANNA MARIA ISLAND — May 13, 2018

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, a day to celebrate all the moms and women that influence our lives. A Mom can be biological, mother-in-law, adopted, foster or step-mom. It could also be a grandmother, aunt, close relative, a neighbour or co-worker. Each year we celebrate important women in our lives on Mother’s Day.
So what are you doing this year to show Mom how much you love and appreciate her?
If you are one of the lucky ones to be celebrating Mom’s Day as guests of Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals – 601Gulf Dr. N. Anna Maria Island, Florida 34217, what are your plans for Mom? You might choose to serve Mom a home cooked meal from your fully equipped kitchen or make a delicious meal on the outdoor grill downstairs of your condo. If you decide to dine out, we think Mom would love lunch or dinner at any of the following three waterfront restaurants offering special Mother’s Day celebrations.
 Beach-House-anna-maria-island
The Beach House Restaurant – 200 Gulf Drive North, Bradenton Beach 941-779-2222
The closest of the three to Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals, approximately a 3 minute walk south on Gulf Drive. Located directly on the beach this newly renovated restaurant offers indoor or outdoor dining. It might be hard for Mom to choose between the well appointed dining room, dining on the outdoor covered deck or toes in the sand seating, but those are the choices here. No matter where Mom decides to sit we know everyone will enjoy the terrific view of the Gulf of Mexico. On Mother’s Day, starting at 11:30 am the Beach House will be serving chef inspired dishes from the dinner menu.

The Sandbar – 100 Spring Avenue, Anna Maria, FL 941-778-0444
Approximately 10 minutes from Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals located at the northern part of the Island right on the beach. Listen to the waves along the shore and watch children play in the sand while waiting for your table. Wear your sandals or flip-flops and get the true sand between your toes experience of eating outdoors on Anna Maria Island. The Sandbar also has a very nice bar inside along with a more formal dining room. Known for their delicious seafood and farm to fork produce you can’t go wrong with the Sandbar. If dining in the evening stay and walk out to the beach and watch the gorgeous sunset.
The Sandbar will serve their Brunch menu from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm with the live jazz music provided by the Al Hixon Jazz Band.
 mar-vista-restaurant-anna-maria-island
Open: 11:30 am – 10:00 pm
The MarVista is located on the northern part of Longboat Key about a 7 minute drive south of your Anna Maria Island Beach Rentals condo.
The structure was originally built in 1912 and is considered one of the twelve oldest surviving structures on Longboat Key. This restaurant has recently underwent some renovations with a new kitchen and dining room. You will find seating in the quaint dining room or on the outdoor covered deck overlooking picturesque Sarasota Bay.
The atmosphere is the best- lighted trees next to the inter-coastal waterway is a beautiful spot. There is sometimes a wait for a table, but they have a beautiful dock to walk out on with your drinks. Enjoy a fresh Florida seafood meal or choose other delicious menu items. We have always found the food to be great the service excellent.
On Mother’s Day Mar Vista will be offering lunch and dinner menus at regular times (listed above) with fresh from the farm produce and gulf to table seafood expertly prepared by Chef Erik.

Rod and Reel Pier-anna-maria-island

ROD & REEL PIER — ANNA MARIA ISLAND RESTAURANT

The Rod & Reel Pier
Address: 875 N Shore Dr, Anna Maria, FL 34216
Phone: 941-778-1885
Hours: Mon – Sun 8:00 am – 9:00 pm

At the north end of the Island about a ten minute drive on the free trolley from Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals-601 Gulf Dr. N. Anna Maria Island, Florida 34217 you will find one our favourite restaurants, the Rod & Reel Pier. One of our top three favourites, it is a definite must try when you visit beautiful Anna Maria Island. This is not a fancy pier restaurant, but an Island favourite for locals and tourists and a perfect place to start your day with breakfast, enjoy a mid-day lunch meal or a relaxing sunset dinner. The restaurant is located at the end of the Rod and Reel Pier offering casual dining, serving great food at a reasonable price. The Rod & Reel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a great selection on every menu. Seating is available inside or on the covered outside deck. They don’t take reservations so there is often a wait for a table. Our wait time isn’t usually to long and to pass the time we go downstairs to their unique bar that serves beer and wine. The staff are all very down-to-earth and make you feel at home. The menu is fairly simple, and while the menu dishes are really good, I have found their fresh seafood specials are often better. They have several specials on the blackboard and you’re given the options of having your fish fried, grilled or blackened. Our last visit the blackened Mahi dinner I ordered was the best I have ever tasted. I enjoy the Fish and Chips as well. I always like to end the meal with their delicious key lime pie.
Rod and Reel Pier-anna-maria-island
But, it isn’t only the food we go for, the spectacular views of the clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge keep us coming back. I saw my one and only Green Flash while dining at the Rod & Reel, so for me it’s also the thought of seeing my next green flash. An unforgettable experience for me, one I hope everyone will get to experience.
After your meal you can watch folks fishing from the pier and enjoy the warm bay breezes. Talk to some of the locals, most enjoy sharing their stories of life on Anna Maria Island. For a small fee rent a pole and fish right off the Rod & Reel dock or walkways. With any luck you just might catch your next meal.
One more piece of beauty on Anna Maria Island awaits you in the relaxing atmosphere at the Rod & Reel Pier.
TripAdvisor Reviews April 2018
1. I love this place. Tiny little restaurant on fishing pier ot north end of island. It has spectacular views of the sunset and Sunshine Parkway Bridge to St Pete. Although they don’t have many tables, they turn over fast. Service is friendly and fast. Reasonable prices especially on beer. It’s the only place I have been able to find amberjack. Several daily fresh catch specials, grouper, ahi, tuna and steak. I always look forward to going back and have never been disappointed

2. Great location! Very informal service and set up but the staff are lovely and it is as much a locals place as it is for tourists. Head up early to watch the sunrise, you may see dolphins and can watch the fisherman at work. Great view whilst in the restaurant too. Definitely worth a trip.

3. The seafood dishes were excellent very fresh. My fried oyster platter was amazing! They don’t take reservations so you need to get there early or be prepared to wait quite a bit. They do have a bar you can order drinks while you’re waiting and have a pretty good view of the sunset. It’s not very big but it’s right over the water which was perfect for our family of six. We enjoyed watching people fish from the pier as we were waiting. We wished we had room for their key lime pie but we were stuffed!

4. As informal as it gets but great food and service, best views ! Walk up but if there is a wait, grab a brew and sit out with the fishermen and watch for manatees and dolphins

5. If you like your fish.. this is one of the best places to eat in Anna Maria. The range is huge and how you have it cooked .. blackened, chipotle .. it’s a bit more restricted for non fish eaters but burgers and sandwiches are on the menu. Busy place so will need to go put name down and then watch the world go around in the pier. My boys loved it.

Bridge Tender Inn has it all!
bridge Tender Inn is a short five minute walk from Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals601 Gulf Drive North, Bradenton Beach.

I took this YouTube video on one of our recent visits to the Bridge Tender Inn

Brigid’s Cross — since their inception in 1996, Paul and Peggy/Brigid’s Cross play it all…contemporary Irish music, traditional Celtic folk, country, rock, alternatives and their own originals. When they are not traveling, they spend time in their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio playing at some fabulous local venues. In the colder months, They perform right here in Bradenton Beach, which is their Florida base at The Bridge Tender Inn. Paul is a master violinist while Peggy’s main instrument is the keyboard and she is well recognized for her amazing human beer fountain! We have seen them play many times to an always full house at the Bridge Tender Inn. They are so talented, funny and exude high energy as they interact with the crowd. Bridge Tender Inn is top on our list of dining recommendations for our guests of Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals and especially when Brigid’s Cross is on the schedule.
Not only is this an awesome charity event, but great food and great entertainment too!

  1. Rustic restaurant right on the water overlooking inlet with boats, pier, picturesque clock tower. Sit under the trees on wrought iron seats with awesome views, enjoying great tropical drinks, good service and ample servings of delicious food. Also live entertainment, sports on TV and indoor seating.
  2. We ate here multiple times on vacation and will return! Awesome location with live music and water views. the food was great and drinks flowed well.
  3. Being from Ohio we heard this band called Brigid’s Cross was playing. Well since we’re old and normally are in bed by 9 we decided to arrive and hour and a half before show time at 7 and watch a few songs. After a great meal, a few drinks , and meeting lots of new friends ( they made us dance) we had the time of our life. We stayed till the end! The music was unbelievable and wow did this couple put on a show second to none. I have heard they always have great talent playing at Bridge Tender Inn. Oh by the way next day we were a little sore haven’t had that much fun in a long time. Strongly suggest this place for great food and a great time.

EXPERIENCE BRIDGE STREET — BRADENTON BEACH, FLORIDA

While you are enjoying your vacation with Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals – 601 Gulf Dr. N. Anna Maria Island, Florida 34217  enjoy a few hours, the day or an evening on Bridge Street. Any day is a great day to visit Bridge Street and being only a five minute walk from your vacation rental you will probably visit more than once! From our condo you can walk south along Gulf Drive to the roundabout or, enjoy a beautiful stroll on the white sand beach of the Gulf of Mexico; when you reach the bright blue building “The Moose Lodge” you will know you have come to Bridge Street.
Anna Maria Island is known for its laid back Florida charm and as you walk along Bridge Street you will experience that feeling first hand.

bridge-street-anna-maria-island

A little bit about Bridge Street …. Bridge Street is a walkable community with spectacular water views from the both the pier and the gulf beach. To the East at the end of Bridge Street, is the Pier which at one time was a wooden bridge and the only way on or off Anna Maria Island from the mainland. Now there is a beautiful fishing pier in place of the bridge with wonderful views of Sarasota Bay and Cortez. Historic Bridge Street is an active, beautifully landscaped street spanning from beach to bay where you will find minutes turn into hours, Shopping – Dining- or Playing. With no high-rise condos or shopping malls on Bradenton Beach, here on Bridge Street you will find quaint buildings with a mix of boutique style shops, restaurants and bars.
bridge-street-anna-maria-island
The Pier is always a place we make a point to go. This pier is free and is nice to walk, to fish or watch others fish. You can rent fishing equipment and there is a fish cleaning stations with places for multiple rods. For those not wanting to fish there are places to sit in the shade with some old fashioned wooden swings at the end inviting you to sit and stay awhile. You will see lots of fish, we have often seen dolphin and there are pelicans and cormorants and many other types of birds as well. Just watching the boats pass by while the Cortez bridge goes up is so relaxing.
bridge-street-anna-maria-island
Fish Hole Adventure Golf is home to our annual family golf outing. This unique miniature golf course is an old Florida fishing village themed course on Bridge Street. They have a ‘fish fact’ plaque at each hole and it is neat to read about the different type of fish. It has misters, which are really nice on a hot day. It is fairly priced and at the end you have a chance to win a free game which we have been lucky enough to do.

bridge-street-anna-maria-island
Bridge Street Interiors – I absolutely love this store. This shop is deceiving, looks small from the outside, but once inside you will be surprised how much stuff is packed in. The store has lots of beautiful handcrafted jewelry, the best mermaid jewelry, home accessories, original prints, incredible wall art, scents, candles and tropical apparel.

They offer interior design services and are happy to help you with your decorating needs. Find a piece that won’t fit it in your luggage? That’s okay, they ship!I have been visiting this store for more than 25 years and purchased many treasures here. It is actually one of my favourite stores not just on Bridge Street, but in the whole Bradenton/Sarasota area.
Bridge Street Jewellers – a hidden treasure on Bridge this shop is definitely worth going into. The selection of jewelry is wonderful. It has some exquisite one-of-a-kind pieces, as well as sea life and other fine jewelry. You will see some amazing custom make pieces here. Every time we visit we find the staff to be very helpful, always taking their time with us and eager to answer any questions we have.
bridge-street-anna-maria-island
Bridge Street Bazaar is such a cute shop with lots of beachy things, summer shoes, hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, purses and those delish coconut patties you can only get in Florida!

Back Alley Treasures is funky little spot. It’s like walking into a treasure chest full of original little treasures you won’t find at home. The Back Alley is home to several local artists’ work, unique jewelry, handmade gifts, great coffee and tasty treats. They don’t just sell home brewed coffee, they also serve espresso creations either hot or cold, island smoothies, frozen lemonade, as well as craft beer & fabulous wine.Live music on popular Bridge Street happens nightly and often in the afternoon as well. On any given day you might hear rock, blues, country, steel drum, and even Irish music. With a lot of great local talent on Anna Maria Island there is always a spot on Bridge Street to sit back and relax or get up and dance. The great thing about Bridge Street is if you don’t care from one s few minute walk will take you to another that’s more suited to your taste.

bridge-street-anna-maria-island
Restaurants are plentiful on Bridge Street. A few of our favourites are:
Bridge Tender Inn – Indoor or outdoor dining with live entertainment. Great food and entertainment too! Right on the water overlooking Sarasota Bay with awesome views, great tropical drinks and good service.

-Island Creperie – We love this restaurant. Great food and service. Serve breakfast and early lunch and only open for dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
-Island Time – Right across from the beach this is a fun place to grab some food, drinks and listen to music. Nice indoor or outside seating. Always good live entertainment.
-Bridge Street Bistro – We have always had excellent meals here. The food is awesome with good drinks and a nice wine menu. Nice dining room with white table clothes. Located on the second floor offers a great view, a perfect place to watch the sunset.
Parking is limited on Bridge Street, so we recommend leaving your car at the condo and walking or using the FREE island trolley (there is a stop right in front of our condo).

St. Armands Circle

SHOP & DINE ON ST. ARMAND’S CIRCLE – A ONE OF A KIND EXPERIENCE

From Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals – 601 Gulf Dr. N. Anna Maria Island, Florida 34217  to St. Armand’s Circle is a beautiful drive straight south along Gulf of Mexico Drive. Enjoy the picturesque water views of the Gulf and see stunning mansions, golf courses and wildlife. This is a favourite of ours and on our must visit list every time we are on Anna Maria Island.
Once you get to the lushly landscaped Circle you will see it surrounds a quiet tree-covered park, known as Circle Park. The outside of the large circle is lined by shops, restaurants, and other businesses in a unique circular configuration. With more than 138 merchants including boutiques, galleries, specialty shops and restaurants, many restaurants offer indoor and outdoor seating. The area was founded by circus magnate, John Ringling, and you will see 33 museum quality statues. Many of the statues date back to the 1920’s reflecting John Ringling’s desire to bring art and culture to the city of Sarasota. If time permits take a walk around the park to see the “Circus Ring of Fame”, a commemorative to outstanding circus performers.
St. Armands Circle
The boulevards in St. Armands Circle have wide medians with a park-like setting, on either side are shops, restaurants and businesses.
Parking on and around St. Armand’s Circle is free. Depending on when you go, you might have to drive around the circle several times to find parking.  I have found this to be a good way to acquaint myself with the area. There are a couple of parking lots within a short walk from the Circle. I discovered these on one of my recent trips as it seems I find something new on each occasion.
The area is all outdoor walking and stores have covered awnings for those that want a break from the sun. All stores and restaurants are air-conditioned. Shops line the Boulevard of the Presidents, John Ringling Boulevard, and St. Armands Circle. The intersection formed by the Boulevard of the Presidents and John Ringling Boulevard give the area four quadrants, each with a different themed color. You will see signage that lets you know what quadrant you are in. You can match this up with maps and directories in the area so you don’t get too turned around after walking around the circle too many times.

St. Armands Circle

After shopping and dinner our family loves to wander around St. Armand’s Circle;  it’s great exercise after a delicious meal and there are many really fun shops to go in and out of. Some of our clothing and restaurant favourites are – Tommy Bahama Restaurant and store, Columbia Restaurant, Crab & Finn Restaurant , Daiquiri Deck-music, food/ drinks and Shore just to name a few. For a sweet treat try Ben & Jerry’s or Big Olaf’s ice cream.

St. Armand’s Circle offers something for all ages and is very walkable. It’s also a good place to people watch and see tourists and locals alike.

However, I think a day is not enough time for you to enjoy this Sarasota gem. So, as you plan your next visit with Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals you can include another trip to “The Circle.”

You might even encounter some famous people visiting the circle.

CELEBRATE EARTH DAY WITH A CULINARY EXPERIENCE ON ANNA MARIA ISLAND

Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm come and enjoy a different culinary experience while supporting START (Solutions to Avoid Red Tide).

START’s Earth Day Culinary Celebration will feature delicious local, sustainable seafood selections and tropical libations created by the event’s primary sponsors: The Sandbar, Beach House and Mar Vista Restaurants.

Beach House Restaurant just a few minutes walk from Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals – 601 Gulf Dr. N. Anna Maria Island, Florida 34217.

anna-maria-island-culanry-experience

The Celebration is being held at The Studio at Gulf and Pine located at 10101 Gulf Drive on Anna Maria Island. The Studio has plenty of free parking and is north of the condo, about a 10 minute drive. Or, leave your car and ride the Free Island Trolley north to Pine Avenue, Anna Maria.

Tickets for the event are available for $30.00 each by calling 941-713-3105.

The event is appropriately scheduled for Earth Day to support the highly successful local Gulf Coast Oyster Recycling and Renewal program (GCORR) in the coastal waters of Manatee County. It is a working partnership formed with a grant from the Tampa and Trolley Bay Estuary Program that includes START, The Chile’s a Group of Restaurants-The Sandbar, Beach House and Mar Vista restaurants, the Manatee County Parks and Recreation Department, the University of Florida’s IFAS Program, and the Gulf Coast Shellfish Institute.

anna-maria-island-oyster-recycling

A brief background of the program: GCORR began as a one-year pilot program in 2017 and is focused on extending the program through 2018 and beyond.  As part of the project bins were purchased for the participating restaurants to store the used live shells and a trailer to haul the shells from the restaurants. The employees at the three Chiles Group participating Restaurants, the Beach House, Mar Vista and The Sandbar dutifully collect the shells, clean them in the restaurants’ dishwashers, store them in the holding bins and deliver the shells once or twice a week to a storage area at Perico Preserve. Employees from the Parks and Recreation Department then store the shells for curing and prepare them for delivery to the seeding area. Sounds like a lot of work, but by doing so the project keeps the used oyster shells out of landfills and instead uses them as the hard bottom base to grow new oyster reefs. In its first year 40,000 pounds or 20 tons of oyster shells were recycled. We are all aware of the importance of sustainability and GCORR’s  approach is doubly sustainable as it reduces shells going to landfills and also reduces the need to dig up fossil shells as a base for new oyster reefs.

anna-maria-island-art

Earth Day 2018 at The Studio, bring your friends and family or come alone and mingle with other visitors. Stations will be set up offering culinary creations created by the team of chefs from the Sandbar, Beach House and Mar Vista restaurants. While there, take a look at the local art which will provide the backdrop at the Studio. Special door prizes will be given out and there will be a number of silent auction items available to bid on. Silent auction items featuring Anna Maria Island products, gourmet meals and vacation opportunities.

Sounds like a fun evening, combining good food with support for a worthwhile program.

HARRY’S GRILL – GREAT FOOD & MUSIC ON ANNA MARIA ISLAND FLORIDA

9903 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, Anna Maria Island, FL — 941-567-5999

Over the years many guests have asked us for restaurants recommendations. We have an extensive list of recommended restaurants and Harry’s Grill is definitely one to add.

Just a short ride on the free trolley from – 601 Gulf Dr. N. Anna Maria Island, Florida, 34217.

anna-maria-island-trolley

We have been on Anna Maria Island for the last 2 months and have dined out often. Last evening we wanted to go somewhere we hadn’t been before and decided on Harry’s. So glad we did!

We had the option to eat inside or on their outdoor patio. Seeing as we are heading back to the cold north soon we like to spend as much time outdoors as possible so that was an easy decision for us. When we arrived around 7:00 pmthere weren’t a lot of people, but it did fill up quickly. The patio is to the side of the restaurant so you can watch people walking the Main Street. It was a beautifully warm evening and was nice to see so many people out and about. The outdoor ambiance is casual — palm trees with twinkle lights, string lights and patio heaters adorn the area. Speakers were pumping out relaxing vacation tunes. The inside is small but features a large bar and several tables.

We happened to pick their Karaoke night which was also fun. We were not aware Tuesday evening from 6:30-9:00 is Karaoke Ladies Night. There was a list of good singers and a singing group from Bradenton that were particularly good. A couple of the girls working at Harry’s took to the microphone and were amazingly good. It was a lot of fun and very entertaining listening to such unknown talent.

Our server, was friendly and efficient. She advised us of the various toppings, sauces, sides very pleasantly. She also explained that because the menu items are made to order sometimes wait times can be long especially when the place is busy. We were one of about 5 tables seated so there was not a long wait time for us.

Our food was delicious. The menu offers a varied selection and we both ordered cheeseburgers. I can easily see why Harry’s was voted best Burger on Anna Maria Island. My usual dining companion/husband ordered fries for his side and said they were very good, thick and spiced. I opted to substitute fries for the house salad with a small up-charge and the salad was good and much larger than I expected.

There was a large selection of beer on tap and they have great craft beers from Bradenton and Sarasota.

Overall, I would say the food, drinks, service and prices rate a 4.5/5 stars.

We found Harry’s to be a casual, fun place to visit.

We will definitely return.

1. We stop here every time we visit Anna Maria. We opted for a very late lunch/early dinner. We had to wait 15 minutes to get a menu, which was the only thing negative about our meal. I’m sure that was because of change of shifts Our food was delicious and the server was very attentive to our needs. New to us this year was live music. We thoroughly enjoyed this music with our meal.

2. Went on a Monday. Live entertainment. Wow! Had to go back the next Monday just to see the same entertainment. George Worthmore, look him up! He’s amazing!

Food, delicious. Big portions. Try the fried green tomatoes!
There’s outdoor seating so you can bring your dog.
Our waitress was great! Go there, you will love Harry’s!

This location just minutes from your condo and is directly on the beach. Waterfront dining with a laid-back casual atmosphere featuring indoor seating as well as climate friendly outdoor seating. Great, fresh seafood as well as other fabulous entrees. Have dinner at this beautiful oceanfront restaurant while enjoying the beautiful Anna Maria Island sunsets.
Blue Marlin — 121 Bridge Street Bradenton Beach 941-896-9737
As you walk along Bridge Street you can’t miss Blue Marlin’s vibrant blue color of this historic 1920s cottage. The inside feel is one of a charming seafood house in coastal Maine. The black and white room displays black & white photos of locals and their fish catches. The atmosphere is intimate with antique ship lanterns, fish mounts and oars scattered throughout.
Blue Marlin’s main focus is the fresh fish from nearby Cortez caught daily, it also offers a variety of dishes including steaks, chicken and other landside features. The fish dishes include grouper, snapper, cobia and hogfish prepared many different ways. A must is one of their daily specials and house made dessert specials.
On Friday and Saturday nights there is live entertainment, with a different weekly band playing in the courtyard.

As I mentioned earlier, parking is very limited on historic Bridge Street. If you do drive and cannot find a spot to park just pull to the front door of the restaurant drop off your party and follow their golf cart driver to their off site parking. The golf cart driver will then shuttle you from your car to the restaurant.                                                                                                                                     Reservations strongly recommended all nights.

TripAdvisor Reviews
1. During our tour, we visited several studios/galleries and three local, privately owned restaurants — all stops were fantastic! We enjoyed food samples from Arts and Eats, as well as Ortygia and Sugar Cubed. Each sampling was unique and outstanding! Our tour concluded at Motorworks Brewery with a beer (included in the tour price) and a behind-the-scenes brewery tour. Neal Finelli, with Taste Magazine, put together an amazing tour and provided a memorable afternoon. Looking forward to joining another tour in the near future!

2. Tour #1 is the Artistic Foodie Tour offered on Thursdays. A group of 8 of our friends just completed this wonderful outing. Our friendly and knowledgeable guides escorted us on a scenic walking tour of the Village of the Arts, introduced us to local shop owners and included plenty of photo ops. The outstanding food and beverages were generous in amount, creatively presented, well-balanced in flavor, and the chefs were very attentive and engaging. This Foodie tour is a true value, well worth the price of admission!
