Anyone can enjoy Halloween. It is not just for kids, adults can
have fun too. For me, Halloween is more than dressing up, it’s about
getting into the spirit of Halloween.
What’s your favourite part? Costume parties, telling ghost stories, watching scary movies?
Here are the things I love about Halloween —
- Being creative, you can dress up and be anyone/anything you want to be.
- Halloween decorations are not as complicated as other holidays and typically are not overly expensive.
- Halloween celebrates excess sugar. It’s all about consuming special treats and who doesn’t like to indulge their sweet teeth?
- It’s the only day of the year we allow and encourage our kids to talk to strangers. They knock on the doors of people they don’t know, shout “trick-or-treat” and expect to get a treat in return.
- Halloween music is the best. Who doesn’t love Michael Jackson’s Thriller, The Monster Mash, The Rocky Horror Picture Show The Time Warp, Ghostbuster Theme Song, The Addams Family Theme Song, Rockwell Somebody’s Watching Me, Ding Dong The Witch is Dead?
- You don’t have to worry about what to get someone for Halloween. Forget about gift planning, gift-wrapping, and gift returns. Buy some candy to hand out (or eat yourself) and everyone is happy.
- I think the real beauty of Halloween is, there are no age restrictions and it is completely voluntary.
With

Bradenton Beach Ghost Tours
The Paranormal Society of Bradenton is hosting family-friendly walking tours which are held Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00 pm. Each tour is approximately 90 minutes and begin next to Island Time Inn (across from Island Time Bar & Grill).
You will hear chilling Anna Maria Island ghosts stories and the area’s strange but rich history. Your tour guide will tell you ghostly tales from the founding of Bradenton Beach right up to the present day. Your journey begins at Bridge Street with stories about Bridge Tender, the Pier, Drift Inn & Island Time Bar & Grill. You’ll also learn about a number of ship wrecks and the mysterious woman seen walking along the water on Bradenton Beach. This is a great way to understand the Island’s history as Bradenton Beach tour stories are based on research, eyewitness accounts, and paranormal books connected to factual and historical events. Please remember while you are on tour that what you hear is the truth. This is not theatrical, these tours are based on fact. Get your cameras ready. We invite you to join them!
Bradenton Beach paranormal tours Tickets are – $15 for adults and $10 for children over 5, kids 5 and under are free – Buy tickets online in advance via PayPal on the Paranormal Society of Bradenton’s website. When purchasing tickets online – please add a tour date, party name in the PayPal instructions and a phone number in case the tour needs to be cancelled.
Tickets for the Bradenton Beach Ghost Tour are very limited. Once they are sold out, you will have to choose a different date. To ensure that you get a spot on the ghost tour that you would like to take, you are required to purchase your tickets in advance. There are no refunds and they do not allow walk-ups to join the tour. They will tour in light rain, but if it begins to storm the tour will be cancelled and a a refund will be given or credit for another tour. Same day tickets MUST be purchased by 5:00pm EST for 8:00pm tour.
