Outdoor Beach Market at Coquina Beach – Anna Maria Island

Whether you’ve visited us before or it is your first time on Anna Maria Island there is plenty of activity waiting to welcome you.

One of our favourites is a visit to the Beach Market at Coquina Beach. The Beach Market is a free, family friendly, seasonal market located a short walk from Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals Inc. A perfect place to shop outdoors, especially this year as we avoid crowded indoor shopping space. Also, this is a great way to support local businesses while learning where they are from and how they make what they sell.

At the Coquina Beach Market you will find a variety of quality artisans and vendors selling home baked goods, a colourful array of fresh local produce, hand crafted clothing, antiques, and unique original artwork everywhere you look. With so many unique items you’re sure to find something that will thrill those on your Christmas list.

Imagine telling your friends and family you walked along a pathway covered with tall pine canopies looking out at the beautiful turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico to buy their Christmas gift. They might not believe you, until…you show them your pictures!

You will feel the great vibe as you walk throughout this market as it truly portrays the spirit of Anna Maria Island. We hope you enjoy shopping the many great local vendors as much as we do.
The Beach Market at Coquina Beach is open for the 2020/2021 season —
10:00 am to 4:00 pm
December to March on Sunday and Wednesday.
Open Wednesday and Friday for those of you staying with us from April to July.

The event is located at 2650 Gulf Drive South, Bradenton Beach.

As you stroll the market you can enjoy listening to the AMI String Band as they perform live from 10:30-2:30. And, if shopping in the Florida fresh air makes you hungry the Coquina Cafe is open serving good food and drinks.

For everyones safety the vendors are social distancing, wearing masks and have hand sanitizer and wipes at their booths. Patrons are expected to follow social distancing and are encouraged to wear masks.

Beach Boho Life – check out the delicate stackers for just $19 each or 3 for $49!
These are very popular and the quantities are limited (especially the Seafoam green). Look for the teal tent at the south end of the market.
Crushable Hats These hats are terrific! So comfortable to wear and you can pack them in your suitcase without worrying about crushing them. They stay on at the beach, are great for boating and when walking on a windy day.
Feisty Mermaid – Her unique work make great gifts. She actually uses recycled items!
Glass Whiskers – Christmas Shadow Boxes that Light up! Tree changes colors. Measure 6" x 6". Handcrafted by Gary Drouin and available for a limited time at the Beach Market. Another great Christmas gift idea!
Licorice Guy – the best licorice! Red, Black, Cinnamon, Chocolate, Watermelon and Green Apple,

Mermazing Kreationz – Beautiful creations by incredible artist Natasha. Unique pieces for you and for gifts.
Monetti Apparel – designer Rejane Monettibrings exciting new creations as well as her famous UV Visors, Rompers, Skorts, dresses and so many other unique looks. All of her designs are made from people’s requests and she is happy to create anything based on what you want. Each and every one of her styles has a story- ask her, she’ll be happy to share.
New Image Jewelry is such a great booth at the Beach Market at Coquina Beach. If you are looking for jewelry for you or as a gift you really should check them out. So many great pieces for men and women. They have such fun pillow covers too, including holiday covers.
Philly Finest Bakers – they make the best cookies, pies and scones. On December 6th Grannie Annie will be taking order for cookie trays. They make great gifts!

Fair Trade Handmade Jackets, Long & Short and Children’s too! Lots of other inventory to choose from. PursesJust4U
Regina Textile – a new vendor to the Beach Market family. Anyone looking for apparel and products made of all natural cotton and hemp you will love this booth!
Sticks and Stones – You will find beautiful rings, coral sets and other incredible pieces at the Beach Market.
Uniquely Yours – Great selection of cute facemask lanyards. While shopping at the Beach Market we are encouraged to wear our masks.
