Pine Avenue on Anna Maria Island

This awesome little street has great options for everyone in your family no matter what age.

Located on the north end of Anna Maria Island, “Pine Avenue’s revitalized main street runs from The Gulf of Mexico to the Historic City pier and it’s one-of-a-kind shops, boutiques, great restaurants and “Old Florida” Cottage Style accommodations are creating quite a buzz, not only for the unique art and beachy gifts, but also for it’s “Green” Construction and commitment.” (Source)

Some great kid friendly stops to make when browsing Pine Ave would be the Flip Flop Shop & Candy Stop at 315 Pine Ave. which has a variety of candies, treats, ice cream & souvenirs or Beach Bums Recreation Rentals & Gift Shop at 427 Pine Ave. At Beach Bums AMI you can rent paddle boards, kayaks, bikes or golf carts to tour the island and experience the charm for yourself. Be careful-you might fall in love and never want to leave!

Another great stop to make is The Donut Experiment 210C Pine Ave. The donuts are made fresh to order and can be customized with an assortment of flavours and toppings which is something kids and adults both enjoy! Don’t forget to pick up a few iced house coffees while you’re there. Yum!

AMI Outfitters Coastal Gear & Apparel is a great stop for professional outdoor gear to use during your stay on the island. Their motto is to think outside the big box store & buy local and we couldn’t agree more! Check out 505 Pine Ave. for womens apparel & gear and 401 Pine Ave. for mens apparel & gear!

I could go on forever about the island and this is only a tiny part of where can shop, eat and browse when hanging out on Pine Ave. Anna Maria Island. Check our their online directory for more information or check it out for yourself next time you’re here!
