A wonderful event to experience while you are visiting beautiful Anna Maria Island. Imagine watching the sunset, listening to the symphony, while you are seated directly on the sand bordering the Gulf of Mexico. You can make that spectacular image a reality with a beachfront concert at Coquina Beach Gulfside Park on Anna Maria Island. The 6th annual Symphony on the Sand will be presenting this event for all musical and gourmet enthusiasts featuring the Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra (AMICCO) on Saturday, Nov. 10th from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra and professional soloists will be performing tunes from Broadway musicals, noted popular and classical music and patriotic favourites. Emcee for the event will be local television personality. There are several seating and food options available at this years event. The Beach|House, Bradenton Beach, The Lazy Lobster of Longboat Key, Harry’s Continental Kitchens, Longboat Key, Hometown Desserts, Anna Maria and the Coquina Cafe at Coquina Beach are this year’s featured local restaurants.

Coolers and outside food and alcoholic beverages are not allowed into the concert or onto the beach.

This is a rain or shine event so dress accordingly. Dress attire is your preference, whether you choose cocktail or casual dress, remember this event is directly on the sand so we suggest wearing comfortable shoes.

There is plenty of free parking at Coquina Beach and a Trolley stop on site. There is also a convenient Trolley stop at the door step of Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals – 601 Gulf Dr. N. Anna Maria Island, Florida 34217. The Free Island-wide trolleys will be running before and after the concert.

On-line tickets are available only until noon Friday, November 9th so buy them now before they are sold out. If all tickets are not sold out, they will be available at the door on the day of the event.

• $20 – Ticket/Person Includes: General Admission bring your own seating with cash bar & concessionaire food purchase options.

Manatee County is contributing $30,000 to help cover the costs of the stage, sound, and lighting, and what is left will help pay the musicians’ stipends. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra Youth and Outreach Programs.
