While visiting Anna Maria Island Condo Rentals 601 Gulf Dr. N. Anna Maria Island, Florida, be sure to take a trip to the RINGLING Museum.
Located across the street from the Bradenton/Sarasota Airport about a 20 minute drive south of the condo. The RINGLING is a celebration of circus owner and art collector, John RINGLING and his wife Mable. The couple built this as their home “The Ca’D’Zan” almost a century ago. Their 36,000 square foot home/mansion has 41 rooms and 15 bathrooms.
Upon John Ringling’s death in 1936 the estate was bequeathed to the people of Florida. Over the years new buildings have been added and this beautiful estate now combines an Art Museum, Circus Museum, Education Center, Historic A solo theatre and beautiful Bayfront Gardens.
Monday the grounds and art museum are free, but you do have to pay full admission to enter the Ca’D’Zan or the Circus Museum. The architecture of the Ca’D’Zan is spectacular, an absolutely gorgeous building! The breathtaking grounds and gardens alone puts The RINGLING on a must see list for everyone. Allow yourself enough time to see everything, one day might not be enough. Remember to bring your camera!

Ringling Underground—Thursday, March 1, 2018 to April 8, 2018 from 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Come out and enjoy the live music, an eclectic mix of local and regional live bands. Featuring Eduardo Correa, DieAlps, Millionyoung. While you are there check out displays from up and coming artists in the Museum of Art.
Bayfront Gardens Tour—tickets now until April 28, 2018 are $15. (Regular $20.) This 90 minute walking tour provides you with an overview of the development of the property. You will be introduced to some key botanical specimens and learn about local flora. Purchase your tickets now as they are limited and must be purchased in advance. Call 941-358-3180 for tickets.
Family Activities After 5 — Drop in anytime between 5 – 7:00 PM. Come to The RINGLING on Thursday nights and receive discounted admission to the museum as well as a special activities for families. Some weeks offer an art-making program in the Visitor’s Pavilion and other weeks Imagination Playground will be somewhere on the campus. The art making program relates to work of art you see in the galleries. Please check their web-site for a schedule and more information.
