1. Doctors Office – 5313 Holmes Blvd. Holmes Beach, FL
The bar is intimate and dark with interesting decor and black and white movies playing in the back room.
*Reviews – 1. The bar is a MUST when visiting Anna Maria Island. Our bartender Sherry was awesome! Super friendly and gave great drink recommendations! The menu is super fun and witty, you can tell a lot of thought when into creating this unique atmosphere. My friends and I ordered a ton of small plates, everything was great. Hard to pick a favorite but I really enjoyed the pimento cheese spread and the tacos! After several drinks we thought it would be fun to order the Fire and Ice beverage. It’s served on fire in a giant bowl….it was awesome!
10/10 would visit again, I wish I was there right now!
2. You must stop here when on Anna Maria Island. It is tiny, intimate place with superb service and top-notch drinks. Stopped in on a Friday night and it was busy. After waiting awhile the four of us were able to get a seat at the bar.
Sherry, our bartender, was friendly, accommodating and was able to point us in the right directions regarding drink choices and menu selections. She was the BEST!
We ordered almost all the small plates that the Doctors Office offers and my favorite was the beer cheese and the charcuterie (get the lavender goat cheese!)

3. A must place to visit when on Anna Maria Island. Excellent, delicious and creative cocktails. Bartenders are skilled and very knowledgeable. Beer and wines also on menu as well as creative small bites.
2. Island Time Bar & Grill – 111 Gulf Drive S. Bradenton Beach, FL
Laid back setting with an open-air bar; lots of seating inside and an outdoor patio. Happy hour, late night food, live entertainment. Dancing!
*Reviews – 1. Great, convenient place on Bridge Street. Met Jay on my first day there, who allowed me to hang out with my luggage until my apartment was ready. Went back everyday during my vacation and found that all of the staff were just as friendly as he was. Shout out to Stephanie, Hailey (good luck on your new position there; I’m sure you’ll do fine!), and the girl with the cool earrings. Sorry, I forgot your name. Food was excellent both downstairs in the laidback area as well as the upstairs, little more dressy restaurant. Great job, Island Time! You’ve earned a patron for life!
2. Had some great live music pretty reasonable beers and Cocktails nice sitting along the ocean just across the street fun place for all ages of adults.

Large restaurant on Bridge Street close to the Bradenton Beach Pier. with lots of bar seating inside and at the dockside bar. You will find great food, drinks and live music.
*Reviews– 1. One of the best places on Anna Maria Island. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The dockside bar offers a great view of beautiful Sarasota Bay and the Bradenton Beach Pier.
2. From the moment you step in to the moment you exit, you are treated with love. Had not visited the “Dock Side” of Ana Maria yet and was pleasantly surprised to walk in whilst wearing my twinkling New York style cap and shimmering top which caught the attention of the lovely owner. Cocktails are fine and appetizers big. Had order 2 thinking it would not be enough to satisfy my hunger. Ended up taking a doggie bag. Great atmosphere, live music, and attention. Thank you!
3. Great outside or inside seating. The outside bar is a great place to hang out. They usually have some form of entertainment. One of our favorites. The mix of locals, visitors, boaters always makes for a fun time. The duck with raspberry sauce is terrific and the sashimi is always a great starter.
4. Slim’s Place – 9701 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, FL
Located in the heart of Anna Maria Island is offers the most traditional Anna Maria Island experience. It is a sports bar by reputation, there is much more here than what meets the eye. You will hear some of the best stories from the locals while enjoying the wonderful atmosphere of the Island.
*Reviews – 1. Good, solid pizza bar. Waitresses and bartenders were friendly and attentive. Pizza was delicious, even though a bit pricey. High energy level on Saturday evenings.
2. Wonderful service. Food was awesome. Cheesesteak was great, Mac and cheese great. Pizza is good too. Had a grilled shrimp app that was tasty. Best place on the island to find your sporting event on tv. Plenty of space and parking. Will definitely come back.
3. Solid local bar & grill. The atmosphere is very laid back, with slightly older patrons. Good, fast service. Sunday ticket for NFLgames, $3 yuengling or buds. Great wings & olive tapenade, hummus, sampler. Kids menu available.
5. The Ugly Grouper – 5704 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach, FL
A fun place on Anna Maria Island. Great food and drinks.
*Reviews – 1. Great place for a cocktail and live music in the food is okay. The bartenders were all friendly can be crowded but it it is fun. There is a wonderful sculpture that is displayed there was made for this restaurant it’s worth a look anyway. Like I said the music is good I’ve heard some wonderful Bluegrass here you just have to check the schedule the cocktails are good you have to get here sometimes too early to get a seat the food is okay but it’s just a fun kind of Island Experience. I would recommend it for a night out when you’re on the island. There are also games for kids and adults to play like corn hole and Jenga while you’re checking out the atmosphere
2. Great place to hang out. Music is always great. Especially Tony and his toys. Grouper tacos and fries awesome and great bartenders especially Bee. Love this place!
3. Found this little gem while searching for a place to eat! The food was delicious and seemed really fresh. At the time, there was live music to enjoy by the outdoor seating. The wait staff helped one another out and made sure to meet all expectations by guest. Our server, Jeremy, was busy at the time but made sure to take great care of us. Definitely will return again. A great place to hangout, take scenic pictures, and play outdoor games.
